Good Meat Project Office Hours
Office Hours allows producers affiliated with our partner organizations to gain exclusive access to an expert consultant to talk about branding and marketing strategies, one-on-one, for free.
Good Meat Project partners with organizations such as Washington State Department of Agriculture, Niche Meat Processor Assistance Network, Friends of Family Farmers, and Quivira Coalition to offer a select number of farmers and ranchers an opportunity to meet one-on-one with consultants who are experts in meat branding and marketing. During these FREE, 45-minute consultations, producers can ask for advice on topics such as:
Scaling into new markets, holistically
Finding the right sales niche
Crafting your farm story for target buyers
Understanding and drawing on marketing capabilities and limitations
Understanding, building, navigating, and optimizing your website, email marketing, social media strategy, online sales and/or ecommerce
Bringing your story and brand into your packaging
Building brand awareness and navigating Media and PR
About the Consultants
Erica Beck
Erica Beck is a communications professional with deep roots in agriculture. Her early career days were spent managing communications for a national commodity organization. After hanging up the 9-5 for a return to the ranching lifestyle, she started a communications business. For nearly a decade, Erica has been building websites and helping rural businesses shine in the online space. She currently splits her time between a Nevada ranch and traveling the west.
Jordyn Gottlieb
Jordyn Gottlieb is the founder of At The Table, a strategic communications firm committed to reshaping the way people interact with and think about their food. She’s made a name for herself in the industry by hitching her scientific training in both agricultural and nutrition sciences to marketing strategy, putting her in a unique position to organize and distill information into approachable narratives at every touchpoint of a business. Jordyn has worked on some of the world’s largest brands and has extensive experience in product launches, building value-added content, sustainability messaging, gaining brand awareness, food systems communications, and thought leadership strategy. In her spare time, she's deeply involved in her agricultural community as a farmer, an educator, and health equity advocate.
Anna Larsen
Anna Larsen is the Operations & Account Lead at Grapevine Consulting. Anna has spent 15 years in the food business, doing everything from founding a Community Supported Fishery to developing a value-added seafood line for Costco. She enjoys solving tough problems and creating resilient systems.
Brooklyn Maloley
Brooklyn Maloley is a Marketing Consultant at Grapevine Consulting. Brooklyn is passionate about food systems and food access and has spent time running e-commerce and CSA programs for local food businesses. At Grapevine, Brooklyn applies this passion for local food to help producers leverage ecommerce and marketing to scale their businesses.
Craig McAnsh
Craig McAnsh is the president and creative director at Native Marketing, a boutique agency based in Asheville, NC. He is an experienced leader in the advertising, branding, marketing and media industries. He has been widely recognized for his strategic, non-traditional approach to solving problems and creating opportunities that build brands and business. Services that he often provides to clients include brand positioning, strategic marketing planning, and “big idea” concept development. Craig’s recent food and farm experience includes Hickory Nut Gap Farms, Future Harvest, Renew Life Supplements, Earth Fare Healthy Supermarkets, Blackbird Restaurant and the Grassfed Alliance.
Natassia Williams
Natassia Williams is a Marketing Consultant at Grapevine Consulting. Natassia has spent the last 11 years doing everything from graphic design to SEO to email marketing to photography. And while her passion for creativity and design will always be her first love, digital marketing has provided a way to feed her love of analytical thinking.
